The Brontë Wing at The Apothecary is a Grade II* listed duplex in the heart of the historic Rye citadel. With far reaching views of the High Street and the surrounding countryside, this spacious 2 bed, 2 bath is the perfect setting for your visit to Rye.


The property benefits from high ceilings, large original Georgian windows, a traditional kitchen with a dining table for 6, a spacious lounge and access to a hidden rooftop garden with views over Rye's ancient rooftops.

The Brontë Wing at The Apothecary is prominently positioned on the corner of the High Street and East Street in the heart of the medieval citadel. The ideal base for exploring this ancient towns cobbled streets, independent restaurants, quirky boutique shops, antique stores and art galleries together with the surrounding areas of natural beauty.


The main car park for the town is just a stones throw from the property with 24 hour parking available for just £2.50 per day. Hastings, Battle, Ashford and Brighton are all a short drive away so you will never be stuck for a day out withThe Brontë Wing at The Apothecary as your base.

Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 large bedrooms The Brontë Wing offers substantial accommodation, including 1 king and 1 super king sized beds.Both bedrooms also have their own en-suites. One with spacious shower, hand basin and WC. The other with a bathtub, integrated shower, WC and basin. There is also a separate downstairs WC.



EAT



The Brontë Wing has a large traditional kitchen complete with all mod-cons including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric double oven and 5 ring gas hob. The dining table within the kitchen can seat up to 6 guests and is the perfect spot to enjoy a home cooked meal.



RELAX



The spacious sitting room features comfortable sofas, smart TV with Netflix access and plenty of storage space. The iconic large curved windows, a feature of our Grade II* listing, overlooking the medieval Conduit Hill and High Street. The perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and watch the world go by. There are plenty of games and books at the property for your use. We offer free wifi throughout.



OUTDOOR



The hidden gem communal rooftop garden is accessed via a double glass door from the communal hallways. Guests have access to the garden with ample seating, tables and views over Rye's rooftops, including St Marys Church and Rye Town Hall.

We are perfectly situated for the vast array of museums, churches and castles of Rye and the surrounding areas. Take a walking tour of Mapp & Lucia's Rye to take in the historic buildings and stories of E.F. Benson, stroll down Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, head into the Kino theatre to see the latest movies and enjoy dinner, and you can't miss Rye's market every Thursday.



TRAVEL



With excellent direct travel links by train to destinations such as Ashford, London, Brighton, Battle, St. Leonards, Hastings, Bexhill and Eastbourne you will never be stuck for a day out shopping or sightseeing.
